Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital chooses Aplios

At Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with the Aplio 500 are Toshiba clinical applications specialist Shane Hanlon, superintendent sonographer Janet French, sonographer Kate Ford, assistants Angela Bowker, Mandy Kelly and Kate Dyer and Toshiba sales representative Steve Beale.

Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has taken delivery of a Toshiba Aplio 500 and an Aplio 400 ultrasound system for the main radiology department.

Already long-term users of Toshiba systems, the latest installations complement the hospital’s existing platforms.

Superintendent sonographer Janet French said: “We chose the Aplio series for its high 2D imaging capabilities, new enhanced contrast and 3D features, ease-of-use and ergonomic design, along with the outstanding after-sales service.”
