Following the purchase of eight Toshiba ultrasound systems in 2011, Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust has ordered a further six systems this year.

These include the flagship Aplio 500 in the main imaging department at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and new equipment has also been installed in the reproductive medicine unit, gynaecology outpatients department and the women’s unit at Aintree University Hospital
