Snooker star White helps open MRI unit

A new centre of diagnostic excellence for private and NHS patients in the Epsom area was officially opened by snooker legend Jimmy Whirlwind’ White and Lord Chancellor, Secretary of State for Justice Chris Grayling.
Grayling, MP for Epsom and Ewell, was on hand to open the Clock House Diagnostic Centre building, while snooker player White was inside to launch the imaging centre that will house a cardiac enabled Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI scanner.
Alliance Medical business development director David Loasby said: “We were delighted that Chris Grayling and Jimmy White were able to join us to mark this important day for Alliance Medical and Clock House Healthcare.”
