Spire Bristol Hospital upgrades CT provision

Senior radiographer Sarah Thomas, diagnostic imaging deputy lead Vicky Mills, Toshiba Medical Systems CT applications specialist Andrew Watson, account manager Megan Newberry and diagnostic imaging lead Simon Holmes.
Spire Bristol Hospital is aiming to expand its services, particularly into the area of cardiac scanning, and has replaced an existing CT system with a Toshiba Aquilion One CT scanner.
Diagnostic imaging lead Simon Holmes said: “The Aquilion One has allowed us to really expand our business potential, especially with cardiac imaging, which we were successfully scanning in our second week of applications training. This is particularly important as we now have a cardiac CT service to work alongside our established cath lab and MRI services. We are delighted with the superb image quality and breathtaking speed of the Aquilion One.”
