Stars help launch flagship Harley Street diagnostic centre

GE Healthcare’s UK and ROI general manager Karl Blight meets Joanna Lumley and Arlene Phillips.

Alliance Medical has unveiled its £4.2million flagship London diagnostics centre and celebrity choreographer Arlene Phillips and actress Joanna Lumley were on hand to join in the celebrations.

The re-developed centre will house the latest in diagnostic technology, with a new 3.0T Siemens Magnetom Skyra MRI and GE Discovery CT750 high definition, low-dose CT scanner, as well as a number of consultation rooms and a new-look reception area.

GE Healthcare UK and ROI general manager Karl Blight said: “The Discovery CT750 HD was the world’s first high definition CT system, and we are pleased that Alliance Medical has chosen it for its refurbished Harley Street centres.  This machine provides clinicians with improved image clarity, which in turn helps them to provide a confident diagnosis to patients, with the ability to lower dose.”
