Stoke Mandeville opts for lightest weight aprons

News

A Somerville Limited southern area sales manager Mark Watson with Stoke Mandeville Hospital radiology matron Jael Rameharitar, interventional nurses Helen Cox and Rosaline Wilson, general manager Jane Barrow deputy interventional radiographer Lynsey Kytch, interventional modality lead radiographer Paul Osgerby, health care assistant Christie Lopez and interventional radiologist Simon Bays.

Stoke Mandeville Hospital has opted to use the latest range of Kiran Zerolead protective clothing.  Modality lead radiographer Paul Osgerby said: “I looked through a few ranges of lead aprons before settling upon Kiran.  They were competitively priced, but the thing that set them apart from the others was the weight reduction with the ZeroLead range.

“They were about 20 per cent lighter than their competitors and, as a manual handling key trainer, this was the most important consideration.  We bought them through A Somerville Limited which has been very easy to deal with and has helped us in every way possible, with information, quotes and time spent on site.”
