Success twice over at business awards
Winners of the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards were announced at a dinner ceremony in March. An audience of more than 500 business people saw Elekta take home two awards.
An event to celebrate innovation has seen medical technology company Elekta scoop two awards. At the annual Gatwick Diamond Business Awards, Elekta won in the categories Developing people for business success’ and Innovation and technology’.
The ceremony celebrated businesses or people who have shown innovation and inspiration in their work, and have demonstrated a real commitment to the regional economy.
“This is great recognition of all our efforts here in Crawley and shows what Elekta can achieve with the support of our global colleagues,” said oncology evp Bill Yaeger. “I found it a particularly proud moment as Elekta was the only business to win two awards, in an evening that saw many internationally-recognised companies as well known local businesses compete for a broad range of awards.”
