Support of speakers and sponsor enable free study day
Delegates and speakers for the ultrasound study day at Royal Victoria Infirmary Clinical Learning Centre.
The inaugural North East Ultrasound Study Day at Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI) Clinical Learning Centre attracted 60 attendees from across the north-east of the country. With sponsorship from Toshiba Medical and speakers offering their services unpaid, it was possible to make the event free to attend.
Main organisers were consultant sonographer at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle-upon-Tyne Ben Stenberg, ultrasound services manager at Northumbria NHS Trust Richard Morrell and advance practitioner sonographer at the RVI, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Claire Casling. In addition Toshiba ultrasound specialists Tracey Bellas and Jo Bertelson were in attendance.
