James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Great Yarmouth, has awarded medical imaging IT company Sectra a ten-year contract to supply a complete IT solution for the management of radiology images, including Sectra PACS and Sectra Open Archive VNA for long-term storage of images.

An improved service to clinicians and more efficient image and information handling are expected to enable reporting from remote locations.  This will ensure that everyone involved in a patient pathway has swift access to information.   The ability to connect to any Dicom-compliant image storage system provides the infrastructure for efficient workflow across medical disciplines.
