Tenth anniversary of MES marked by linac refresh
Retired director of the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre and current Friends of the Cancer Centre board member Geoff Hill, Friends of the Cancer Centre executive director Colleen Shaw, Medipass Healthcare director of operations Robin Rezende and Belfast MES manager Gaile Smyth.
A long-term managed equipment services partnership between Medipass Healthcare and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Medipass ceo David Rolfe said: “Our Belfast project is an excellent example of what an MES looks like when it is done well; it benefits the entire marketplace as well as the trust, its staff and its patients.
“Our contract only required us to provide like-for-like equipment when we replaced kit at the end of its scheduled lifecycle. However, because of our partnership approach and relationship with the major equipment manufacturers, we were able to deliver above and beyond our contractual commitment.”
