Third dDR joins Oxfordshire PCT

At Abingdon Community Hospital are administrator Linda Georgina Sajoe, senior radiographers Ann Speers and Lucy Brazier, student Callum Urguhart and Xograph Healthcare clinical applications specialist Iain Burley.

Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust has installed a third dDR general radiography system into one of its community hospitals.

Abingdon Community Hospital has followed in the footsteps of sister hospitals Witney and Townsland, choosing a dDR BuckyStar Intuition and opting for Canon’s dual detectors, a fixed CXDI-40EG and a portable CXDI-55G, all supplied and installed by Xograph Healthcare.

Services at the time of installation were unaffected as Xograph supplied a MobileDaRt Evolution mobile system and a chest stand to allow daily throughput of patients.
