Top scores lead to mobile x-ray purchases

One of the largest specialist heart and chest hospitals has installed four Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray units. Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital provides services for the north west of England, north Wales and the Isle of Man.
The DRX-Revolutions are used in the general radiology department for all mobile x-ray requests, which can number up to 50 images a day.
Superintendent radiographer Diane Evans said: “Patients on our main thoracic ward are also benefiting as we are able to use the Revolution as a satellite room to x-ray patients in the PA position.”
