Following the success of its previous lunch sessions with Belgian technology company Barco, Hospital Services Limited (HSL) is working with healthcare trusts to launch a lunchtime learning session for radiography teams.
Delivered by HSL’s application specialists, the ‘X-rays: the past, present and future’ session is CPD accredited, meaning all attendees who complete the session qualify for an HCPC submittable certificate. The HSL team has already delivered a number of sessions including with the team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London.
The interactive session includes lunch, as well as spot prizes for an interactive quiz, and examines the history of x-ray from its discovery to first clinical use and key clinical waypoints and development of new imaging technologies. The session will also delve into the future of x-ray and include learning about glass-free detectors, dynamic digital radiography and AI. As well as having a deeper understanding of the history of x-ray and cutting-edge developments, radiography professionals will leave the session with more advanced knowledge of how CR and DR work, including the physics behind them and how this influences exposure factor selection.
HSL specialises in solutions designed to provide healthcare professionals with the confidence they need to make accurate decisions.
