Ultrasound additions impress at Glan Cwyd

Glan Clwyd Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, has purchased two high-end Toshiba Aplio 500 ultrasound systems, one for use in radiology and a second for obstetrics and gynaecology. Both systems have been supplied with Toshiba’s latest 4D technology. Superintendent sonographer Helen Jones said: “We have found the new scanners very user-friendly. We are obtaining outstanding image quality and are very impressed with the enhanced 4D imaging package.”
