Ultrasound couch can carry up to 37 stone

Delta 2 has a height range of 52cm to 106cm.

Designed specifically for ultrasound, the Autotilt Delta 2 couch provides stability for patients and staff.  It has a maximum weight of 240kg spread over the surface of the chair, to safely accommodate larger patients.  Delta 2 has four motors to control height, backrest, and foot section adjustments as well as Trendelenburg tilting.  The unit also provides low-level access height for disabled or wheelchair patients at 52cm to 106cm.

Upholstery sections are replaceable in the event of damage and Knight Imaging offers service agreements to ensure the equipment is always fit for purpose.  The couch is part of the company’s growing range of medical furniture, which includes the Cardiff Chair, a mammography chair launched in 2016 to ease the process of interventional breast screening.
