Upright MRI centre welcomes 1,000th patient

Birmingham Upright MRI Centre superintendent radiographer Sarah Masters and 1,000th patient Sonia Potter.

United Open MRI has scanned its 1,000th patient at its Birmingham Upright MRI Centre.

Patients who suffer claustrophobia and are unable to tolertate traditional supine MRI can often be scanned in an open upright scanner.  They also allow patients to be scanned in a weight bearing position.
