Kettering Hospital was seeking a system that would be able to support new procedures in the future when it chose a Philips Allura Xper FD20 ceiling mounted vascular interventional suite, with an array of software packages including XperGuide, XperCT, FlexVision XL and DoseWare.  It also comes with an integrated CX50 ultrasound scanner and IntelliVue MP20 patient monitoring equipment.

Radiology manager Tracy Reid said: “The Philips Allura offered us all the features we were looking for – we purchased the XperGuide and XperCT packages and have successfully moved most of the CT-guided biopsy work out of CT into the new room, creating capacity that has allowed us to introduce new procedures in that modality.”
