IEL senior account manager Phil Neale, head of radiotherapy physics at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, Elizabeth Crees, Oxford Cancer Centre’s radiotherapy physicist Ellis Marshall, IEL business development manager Jack Knight, Sun Nuclear owner and chief scientific officer Bill Simon and Genesis Care lead physicist Mark Osbourne.

As part of Imaging Equipment Limited’s commitment to continuing education it invited three UK customers to attend the QA and Dosimetry Symposium (QADS) and to visit the Sun Nuclear training centre at its headquarters in Melbourne, Florida.

The symposium provided the delegates with practical guidance from industry experts on the newest products, processes, and techniques in an evolving radiation oncology environment.  The academic programme was enhanced by opportunities to interact with leading industry figures and colleagues, in a professional and social setting.

Head of radiotherapy physics at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, Elizabeth Crees said: “The symposium had a full and informative educational programme which has generated many ideas to bring back and incorporate into our current clinical practice.  It was also useful to be able to discuss Sun Nuclear products with the scientific development team at the training centre.”
