Webinars continue essential injector and spinal system training

The pandemic-related changes in scientific dialogue and exchange of experience have led medical technology manufacturer ulrich medical to launch its webinar concept. Although known for live events featuring specialists in their fields, the company has been offering a virtual training programme for the product areas of contrast medium injectors and spinal systems as part of its ulrich medical Academy since early summer last year.

The webinars with scientific presentations held so far have recorded more than 650 participants from 29 countries. The online symposium ‘Stabilisation in revision surgery – complication management and surgical techniques’ at the Virtual German Spine Congress in December was well received. A total of 155 German participants followed the presentations of renowned lecturers and had a lively discussion about the new findings afterwards.

The company will maintain its digital training offering after the pandemic, establishing it for the long term and developing it further on an ongoing basis. “The current situation has shown how important time and location-independent training opportunities are for doctors and healthcare professionals,” said ceo Klaus Kiesel. “To be able to acquire elementary know-how regularly and reliably is essential for their daily work. At ulrich medical, we see this as an essential task in our partnership with international experts in their field.”
