Whole organ acquisition in a single rotation

At Wrexham Maelor Hospital are Toshiba Medical Systems UK account executive David Billington, imaging manager Helen Hughes, senior radiographer CT Rachel Harrison, lead radiographer CT Neal Crimes, associate clinical director Dr Mark Elias and senior radiographer CT Sarah Flemming.

 

Wrexham Maelor Hospital has installed a Toshiba Aquilion One CT scanner and Dr Mark Elias, associate clinical director and consultant radiologist, said: “It is early days yet, but we are happy with it and looking forward to using it to improve the service.” 

 

The Aquilion One offers the ability to acquire isotropic volume of an entire organ with a single rotation of the gantry.
