Wireless x-ray systems meet Antrim’s requirements

Antrim Area Hospital has purchased two Philips DigitalDiagnost wireless x-ray systems, including an Eleva Workspot and a MobileDiagnost wDR mobile x-ray unit, for use in the 24-hour emergency department.
Northern Health and Social Care Trust radiography manager and lead radiographer Geraldine McCafferty said: “From the outset it was important to have equipment that would increase the throughput in our busy emergency department and be user-friendly with excellent image quality. DigitalDiagnost with wireless detector provides fast, efficient imaging with improved workflow and the imaging quality we were seeking.”
