Wolverson X-Ray installs carbon fibre C-arm table at Nuffield Health Derby

Wolverson X-Ray has completed the delivery and installation of a dedicated C-arm compatible imaging table at Nuffield Health hospital in Derby. The installation featured the X-Ray 0250 carbon fibre C-arm table and mattress, a system designed specifically to support a wide range of fluoroscopic and interventional procedures. Wolverson delivered the project with an emphasis on minimising downtime, ensuring the department was able to return to full clinical activity as quickly as possible.
The X-Ray 0250 table is engineered around radiolucent carbon fibre construction, which Wolverson says allows excellent image clarity during C-arm procedures by reducing artefacts and interference. The design supports flexible patient positioning, with smooth longitudinal movement and precise height adjustment to assist clinicians during complex workflows. Its integrated mattress system enhances patient comfort while maintaining stability throughout imaging procedures.
Additional features include strong load-bearing capability, secure braking systems for stable positioning and compatibility with a wide range of surgical and imaging set-ups.
