WRETF explores further fund-raising

The World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation (WRETF) has been reviewing its fund-raising strategy following a successful 2016 that saw the trust support several educational travel bursaries for radiography disciplines of up to £500 each, as well as a number of other initiatives.
A new campaign approaching large UK organisations and institutions is to be supplemented by a specific request to individual radiographers and those who are interested in supporting the trust’s efforts to empower, develop and enhance knowledge and skills for the international community of radiographers working in developing and low to middle income countries.
The WRETF is rapidly approaching its 50th anniversary in 2019. To mark this event the trust is embarking on a two-year fund-raising programme to raise £50,000 that will enable it to expand its valuable work designed to help improve the health and wellbeing of the patients that radiographers care for in such countries.
