Wrexham Maelor Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, has installed two Bracco CT Exprès injectors.  CT lead Neal Crimes said: “The CT Expres has enabled us to improve patient throughput in our busy CT scanner, as it is much quicker than changing syringes.  The installation process was quick and simple.

“The system allows optimal dosing of contrast media with no wastage and the use of a saline flush post injection permits the use of smaller volumes of contrast media per patient as well as providing all patients with IV hydration at the time of injection.”
