Cardiac radiographers Sheen Baluyos, Samantha Wu and Ola Banjoh, clinical specialist Shelina Sunni, cardiac radiographer Tatenda Ndoro, senior cardiac radiographer Sadaqat Ali, superintendent cardiac radiographer Jules Darnell and senior cath lab radiographer Erwin De Leon.

St Thomas’ Hospital, part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, has taken delivery of GE Healthcare’s Innova IGS 530 image-guided system for cardiovascular and interventional imaging.  The system includes ASSIST software that helps improve visibility by up to 85 per cent in moving anatomy, and up to 75 per cent in larger patients, at the same dose.

“At St Thomas’ we will be using this equipment to implant complex pacing devices and perform peripheral angiography to help patients with rhythm disorders of the heart and peripheral vascular disease,” said clinical specialist Shelina Sunni.
