Fujifilm open medical showroom

Fujifilm Medical Systems team members gathered at the company’s UK headquarters in Bedford to open a new medical showroom and mobile mammography trailer. Economic minister at the Embassy of Japan in London Shuichi Akamatsu cut the ribbons on the new facilities. Medical systems staff and senior leaders raised a glass to celebrate the launch.

The medical showroom will be used for a variety of training and demonstration purposes. It features a wide range of digital radiography systems, including the FDR Smart X room solution, the FDR Go Plus and FDR nano mobile x-ray units, and the Newtom VGi evo dental x-ray system. Workstations demonstrating the Synapse Enterprise Imaging solution provide a complete portfolio of digital diagnostic systems, including PACS, VNA and 3D. The Fujifilm point-of-care in vitro diagnostics portfolio is also on show.

The Amulet Innovality onboard the mobile mammography unit can be used for screening and symptomatic mammography. It offers a full range of functionality in a single system and will support customers for training and continuity of service during
transition to a new room.
