Affidea expands in the Swiss breast care market
Provider of diagnostic imaging, outpatient and cancer care services Affidea Group has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Brust-Zentrum Zürich, a large integrated breast medicine group in Switzerland.
Brust-Zentrum Zürich offers integrated services in women’s health such as breast cancer screening, diagnostic imaging, outpatient consultations, oncological medication treatment and surgical treatment. It has 80 staff members and 20 breast specialists including gynaecologists, surgeons, oncologists and radiologists.
This partnership enables Affidea Switzerland to expand into the breast care market. The three key founders of Brust-Zentrum, Professor Christoph Tausch, Professor Jian Farhadi and Onko-Zentrum Zürich will continue growing the company in partnership with Affidea, as shareholders and board members as well as in their medical roles.
