Oncology Systems Limited (OSL), an independent provider of radiotherapy and oncology products and services to the NHS and private hospitals, has entered a strategic partnership with MPSi, a provider of commissioning, consultancy, shielding calculation services and medical physics expertise.

For more than two decades, MPSi has delivered commissioning of linacs, advanced dosimetry support and tailored medical physics consultancy to healthcare providers. Its team of certified physicists brings experience in radiotherapy system implementation, QA and workflow optimisation.

“At OSL, we have always believed that outstanding technology is only part of the solution; the expertise to implement it safely and effectively is just as important,” said director Alice Pavey. “Our partnership with MPSi allows us to offer our customers a truly end-to-end service, from equipment supply through to commissioning, QA and ongoing physics support.”

OSL will offer MPSi’s full suite of services, including linac commissioning and beam modelling; shielding calculations and facility planning; advanced dosimetry and QA support; software development and workflow consultancy; and specialist medical physics guidance for new and existing radiotherapy installations.

MPSi director Matt Daniels added: “MPSi is thrilled to be able to join another respected independent provider, OSL, in a common mission to bring independent, comprehensive services to the region’s cancer centres.”
