World Radiography Day celebrations

Two first-year apprentice radiographers from the University of Exeter have been spreading awareness of their roles and the skills required to excel.

“As we mark World Radiography Day, it is inspiring to spotlight two enthusiastic first-year apprentice radiographers from the university who have already become passionate advocates for their profession,” said a university spokesperson.

Celebrating World Radiography Day are apprentice radiographers Sarah George and Lydia Dare.

The event not only celebrates advances in radiography but also the people behind the technology. Eager to promote the profession, the apprentices have been spreading awareness about the essential role of radiographers within Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. They remind others that radiography is more than just imaging; it is about compassion, skill and precision. By sharing their journey with friends, family and future colleagues, they are hoping to inspire the next generation to consider a path in radiography.
