AXREM reinforces climate change education ambitions with CPDmatch sponsorship

AXREM is sponsoring CPDmatch, a platform that promotes education on climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. It says it is the first trade association to back the not-for-profit organisation.

AXREM CEO Sally Edgington said: “By supporting CPDmatch, we’re encouraging our members and the wider healthcare community to engage with the pressing environmental challenges facing our planet.”

CPDmatch is designed by Richard Hixon, a consultant anaesthetist and honorary associate professor at the University of Exeter and co-founder of Healthcare Ocean. He commented: “I have been aware of the high environmental ambition of AXREM for some time and it is a huge boost to be collaborating with such an incredible organisation. Together we will work towards improving climate and environmental literacy across the healthcare value chain.”

Through initiatives including its sustainability and social value special focus group, webinars, sustainability policy, green procurement advocacy and partnerships with climate-conscious organisations, AXREM says it is committed to driving innovation that reduces environmental impact without compromising patient care.
