FUJIFILM UK and Trekstock unite in a partnership to enhance cancer support for patients between 20 and 50

FUJIFILM UK and FUJIFILM Healthcare UK have entered a three-year partnership with Trekstock Cancer Support, a UK-based organisation that helps people in their 20s, 30s and 40s rebuild their strength and confidence during and after cancer treatment. Trekstock helps bridge the gap between childhood services and the ageing adult ward, creating a space for them to access support, with tailored programmes covering fitness, nutrition, rest and rehabilitation.
In the UK, the partnership between FUJIFILM and Trekstock aims to reach clinical staff and teams at major UK cancer centres, and directly support the patients they care for, such as planning for the provision of wellbeing rooms, physical spaces in NHS cancer specialist treatment centres where people aged 20 to 49 years can take respite from treatment on the adult ward and access tailored support. These rooms will offer a more comforting and age-appropriate environment for people seeking a moment of reflection or time with friends and family. FUJIFILM will help bring the spaces to life, such as through the use of photo prints and calming wall art.
“FUJIFILM Healthcare UK has always had a strong commitment to tackling cancer through its innovations in early detection diagnostic equipment, AI and medical IT,” said MD Allan Elborn. “We are delighted to further underscore our commitment to tackling cancer through our new partnership with Trekstock, and hope to support as many people as possible in their 20s, 30s and 40s in the midst of their cancer treatment and beyond.”
Trekstock Cancer Support founder and CEO Sophie Epstone MBE added: “This collaboration will enable us to extend our reach, offering essential physical and emotional support to more people than ever before.”
