AIM Medical Solutions expands with the addition of Paul Mount

David Mount, owner of AIM Medical Solutions Limited which he started in January 2025, is proud to announce that Paul Mount joined his company in February 2026.

Paul Mount, former owner of Mount International United Service (MIUS), retired in 2021 but is delighted to be joining his son and hopes his 30 years’ experience in dealing with diagnostic imaging equipment will help David grow AIM in the coming years. He commented “David has built a very successful company in such a short period and has already removed dozens of pieces of equipment from NHS and private hospitals including MRI, CT, x-ray and ultrasound. I’m impressed, but not surprised, in how well he’s done and the fact he’s doing business the right way, providing great prices and dealing with customers in an open and timely manner whilst delivering on everything he promises.”

He continues: “David grew up working with me at MIUS. From the age of 12, he was doing a number of different tasks and even joined me on customer collections and deliveries. He showed a great interest in all aspects of the business which he obviously absorbed because he’s dealing with things now very much like I did things back in the late 1990’s. Technology changes but interpersonal relationships, trust and focusing on quality first will never change – when quality counts, we don’t miss.”

AIM Medical Solutions was formed by David Mount in January 2025 and primarily deals with acquiring diagnostic imaging equipment, from within the UK, selling it to buyers in the UK and all over the world. The services include the full management of equipment deinstall and removal from site in a timely and professional manner to meet customer needs. It also supplies spare parts worldwide and can facilitate repairs to all imaging modalities.

David Mount comments “I’m very pleased with how my first year in business went, working closely with large numbers of NHS trusts and private hospitals, all absolutely delighted with the work we do, putting them and their patients first with our flexible, breath of fresh air approach; as mentioned by multiple customers. We have been able to create strong relationships with suppliers, especially with AIMs equipment partner, QMS. I’m incredible proud and happy to have my Dad onboard to help me to take the company to the next level. His experience in the industry and on how to run a successful business will be a great benefit to me and AIM and I’ve already benefitted from some of his knowledge in the last month.”

AIM Medical Solutions has an office in Newcastle upon Tyne where David operates from and a large warehouse and office near Gloucester where Paul is based.
