Expanding portfolio sees Synapse Medical increase its reach

For more than a decade, Synapse Medical has supplied ulrich medical CT and MR contrast injectors. But while ulrich remains a cornerstone of its portfolio, Synapse has entered a period of growth, bringing more innovative solutions to diagnostic imaging professionals.

Over the past year, it has partnered with several new suppliers whose products address key challenges in modern radiology, mammography, nuclear medicine and patient care. One of note is Kubtec Technologies, whose Xpert 20 system provides rapid, high resolution specimen imaging for breast units.

Another collaboration is with Lemer Pax, designer and manufacturer of nuclear medicine equipment and radiation protection. Its comprehensive product range is said to support virtually every aspect of nuclear medicine delivery from radiopharmacy and dose preparation to injection, transport and shielding.

Complementing these developments is the partnership with Febromed, specialists in patient handling solutions. Its portfolio includes systems designed for CT and MRI environments to improve workflow and optimise patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

Synapse also represents Philips for MR patient monitoring solutions and says the systems allow for seamless physiological monitoring inside the MR suite, supporting safe, uninterrupted scanning of a wide range of patient groups.
