AGFA HealthCare hosted educational sessions and demo-stations

AGFA HealthCare said it returned to UKIO with a clear goal: to help imaging teams work without barriers, while keeping people firmly at the centre of care. The event’s theme, Putting Humanity at the Centre of Healthcare: in the Age of the Machine, set the tone for many of the conversations the company had during the event.
“We saw strong engagement throughout, with a steady flow of visitors and consistently busy demonstration stations,” the company said. “It was great to welcome radiologists, radiographers and IT teams to explore AGFA HealthCare Enterprise Imaging and how it connects imaging data across departments. What stood out was not just what the technology can do, but how it supports a more intuitive, streamlined experience for clinicians.”
AGFA HealthCare stated that a highlight was its programme of CPD-accredited education-on-the-stand sessions, which were well attended and allowed delegates to hear directly from its clinical applications specialists. It also hosted a guest session, ‘From clinician to cloud: what AI really means for diagnostic imaging’, by Dr Prabhu Arumugam from Amazon Web Services.
The company said its collaboration café, demo-stations and meeting tables were always in use, creating a welcoming space for open conversation, and that its barista-served coffee was “a hit, as always.”
