Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Londonderry, Derry, Ireland has invested in three Philips high performance x-ray systems.  Clinical specialist radiographer Joanne McFeely explained: “The latest addition of a DigitalDiagnost 3.0 wireless room, together with a DigitalDiagnost dual detector room and a MobileDiagnost wDR, ensures that we are able to provide an efficient high quality service by producing images of excellent quality with minimum radiation dose.  These systems enhance our busy department by ensuring maximum patient throughput and ease of workflow.”

Designed for high throughput, the DigitalDiagnost system covers a variety of applications and projections.  In the dual detector room, two detectors make it easy to switch from table to chest examinations and automated functions such as auto collimation and move-to-position aid workflow.
