EEP brings 25 years of experience to design and installation of bespoke MRI rooms

European EMC Products (EEP) is celebrating more than 25 years of business in the design and installation of bespoke MRI rooms. A new brochure has been released, detailing some of its services and products.

With each MRI room being tailored to meet distinct specifications and requirements, EEP says its team designs Faraday cages that seamlessly integrate with host rooms, ensuring optimal functionality and shielding. The company utilises copper-clad panels and acoustic insulation.

MRI shielded doors engineered to mitigate electronic interference while serving as robust acoustic barriers are available in manual and pneumatically operated variants.

EEP also installs MRI windows to ensure clinical staff are able to observe patients during scans. These windows match the shielding efficacy of the Faraday cage, ensuring functionality and safety.

In addition to doors and windows, EEP designs and manufactures an array of shielded waveguides and penetrations specifically tailored for MRI rooms. It also offers design and installation of MRI magnetic field shielding and quench pipe systems, all manufactured to stringent standards.

Silentlite is EEP’s own MRI room LED light system, with built-in RF filters. The non-magnetic luminaires are designed to reduce energy costs by 25 per cent, while creating a calming ambience. Virtual Skylites, ceiling-mounted images that enhance the patient experience, transform the clinical environment into a relaxing space with customisable images.

EEP also offers power filters, internal finishes and RF testing, as well MRI maintenance contracts.
