Southfields Veterinary Specialists will soon be moving to our new 40,000 sq. ft, state-of-the-art veterinary referral hospital in Basildon, Essex. As part of our continuing growth, we now seek a veterinary radiographer with the same high level of passion about caring for pets as we share across our whole team.

You’ll be working with true state-of-the-art imaging technology; including brand new cross-sectional machines (Siemens Magnetom Sola 1.5T MRI and Siemens 64-slice CT), portable radiography and fluoroscopy, and ultrasound equipment.

You’ll play a key role in the daily acquisition of MRI studies whilst working with, and closely alongside, our dedicated, experienced, and proactive diagnostic imaging nurse team to achieve the highest quality CT, fluoroscopy, and radiographic images.

If you’re a qualified diagnostic radiographer, with a BSc Diagnostic Radiography, or other equivalent degree/qualification, we’d love to hear from you. You could be just the right person to join our dynamic, enthusiastic, and friendly team. We provide full support, and training for the equipment and for the handling and positioning of veterinary patients. We also encourage and fund CPD activities.

You will work a 40-hour week and contribute to a 1:5 weekend and bank holiday rota.
