Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust has enhanced the scanning facilities in its radiology department following the installation of three Acuson S2000 ultrasound systems from Siemens Healthcare.
Offering specialist care to women, the hospital is using the systems for general all-purpose scanning in obstetric, gynaecological and paediatric examinations.
“We have a very good working relationship with Siemens and the applications training and support we received was, and continues to be, of the highest quality,” said Dr Jo McHugo, consultant radiologist. “With the S2000s in place we hope ultimately to be able to add 3D ultrasound to our range of services.”
