Nottingham introduces syringeless injectors

Modality manager for CT Jacquie Daft, senior radiographer James Waddoups and agency radiographer Victoria Giles.
Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust (NUH) has replaced all contrast injectors in its CT department with Ulrich CT Motion contrast injectors. Five injectors have been installed, two at the City Hospital site and three at Queen’s Medical Centre, providing a standard injector platform across the trust.
“The combination of the weight related contrast dose and the speed of using the CT Motion has provided a much better patient experience,” said modality manager for CT Jacquie Daft. She added that the installation process and support provided by UK distributor Synapse Medical had allowed staff to quickly get up to speed with the injectors at both trust sites.
