Optivantage at Watford

Nick Tessier and his CT radiographers at the acute admissions unit of Watford General Hospital say their new Optivantage DH injector from Covidien ” is incredibly easy to use and, with the use of Optiray prefilled contrast media syringes, has increased the throughput of patients.”

Reduced risk of nephrotoxity and extravasation is achieved by utilizing the saline bolus injection function following administration of contrast media.
