Due to the rapidly evolving nature of healthcare provision, there are an increasing number of publications available to the scientific community detailing innovative methods for well established procedures for effecting change in clinical settings. To cope with such a high flow of information, implementation of in-house systems is crucial to maintaining a continuous improvement attitude guided by adequate and contemporaneous scientific evidence.
