The White Horse Health Centre in Westbury, part of Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, has acquired a Philips DuraDiagnost 4.0 Value digital radiography system.
Lead radiographer and head of service Simon Clarke explained: “We selected the Philips system based on the quality and reliability of existing Philips equipment in our hospital. We were looking for a comprehensive system with excellent quality within the available budget. The new equipment has enabled us to increase the throughput of work at our busy community site, improving the patient experience and providing opportunities to expand the service to more days per week. We are looking at promoting the service to many more GP surgeries across the area, and also providing walk-in x-ray services to other clinical referrers such as chiropractors and physiotherapists.”
