CR for treatment centres

At Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre in Bristol, with a Konica Minolta Regius 190 CR System, are UK Specialist Hospitals’ radiology manager Arvind Kumar and senior radiographer Subrata Ray Chaudhury.

Konica Minolta has installed its CR systems at two independent sector treatment centres for the Department of Health.  The radiology departments at the regional Devizes NHS Treatment Centre in Wiltshire, and the Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre in Bristol are both operated by UK Specialist Hospitals plc.

The sites are equipped with Konica Minolta’s Regius 190 CR Systems, complete with the latest CS-3 user interfaces, plus Dicom-compatible Drypro 771 laser imagers.

The two centres are a follow-up to the earlier installation success at the Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre and its older neighbour, the Shepton Mallet Community Hospital, in Somerset.  Konica Minolta 190 CR Systems were installed at both sites, with the second CR unit being chosen then as part of a modernisation plan for radiology.
