The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn has updated its ultrasound systems with the installation of two Hitachi Preirus units. In addition to a substantial general ultrasound workload, the scanners will be used for a wide range of clinical applications including gynaecology, MSK and paediatric hips.
Ultrasound lead sonographer Alison Hill explained that the Hitachi Preirus was chosen due to its superb imaging capabilities and ease of use. “Everyone picked it up very quickly,” she added. “The systems represented excellent value for money.”
