Mobile imaging table makes positioning easier

Theatre healthcare support worker John Mercer, Wolverson X-ray sales manager Gurpal Matharu, pain management nurse Mandy Beacham, Wolverson X-ray product support engineer Steve Dovey and senior CNS pain management Helen Williams.

Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Wales has received a C-arm imaging table from Wolverson X-ray.  Another table was supplied to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, also part of the Cwm Taf University Health Board, at the same time.  Both tables were modified for increased height at no extra cost.

Senior CNS pain management Helen Williams said: “Since using the Orbita tabletop, the consultants within the pain service have found undertaking their radiology-guided pain interventions is far easier in relation to both positioning the patient and the quality of the images they can obtain.  This has facilitated greater throughput in terms of patient numbers per session.  We are very happy with our new imaging table.”
