Lightweight system offers full connectivity and gesture driven touch screen

Esaote has released MyLab X1, its latest technology in ultrasound systems designed to enhance daily productivity.

The company says the system can deliver high quality images across a wide range of applications with one touch. The system is a lightweight portable unit that is intended to increase the daily examination count due to its ultra-light workflow and full connectivity that enables it to be taken almost anywhere.

“Making ultrasound imaging easier was our first priority,” commented country business director UK and Ireland James Davies.

“With health organisations being under great pressure our ultrasound imaging can give a very important contribution to help ease the burden. The new system perfectly meets clinical needs by being light and agile, along with its ergonomic design and eco-friendliness.”

Made from materials that can be easily cleaned and are compatible with a wide range of disinfection agents, the MyLab X1 is operated by simple gestures and touch, as well as being compatible with gloves. It is available with a comprehensive range of probes.
