Clinical applications of paediatric SPECT/CT

SPECT/CT is now an established diagnostic imaging technology considered as a standard of care within paediatric imaging. Although the majority of the published literature that supports the use of hybrid imaging is within the adult domain, SPECT/CT can be utilised with success within the paediatric population in specific contexts where sufficient evidence exists for an added clinical benefit.
