Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital has installed a Philips Allura FD10 system with EP Cockpit. The hospital already has six Philips cath labs and also recently acquired an Allura FD20 for a hybrid theatre.

Chris Abell, superintendent radiographer cardiology, says: “We know and like the layout of the Philips labs and a bonus is that training is easier as the equipment is already familiar to staff.”

The hospital plans to do EP work in the new lab. EP Cockpit supports clinicians and staff in the treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders, including complex ablation therapies.
